Montecristo Espada Guard Toro
The Montecristo Espada Guard is a distinguished 6-inch by 50-ring gauge Toro, representing Montecristo’s inaugural Nicaraguan puro. Crafted in collaboration with the renowned Plasencia family, this cigar features a vintage 2010 Habano Jalapa wrapper, complemented by a 2009 Habano Jalapa binder and a meticulously selected blend of fillers, including 2008 Habano Jalapa Seco, 2008 Habano Jalapa Viso Ometepe, and 2008 Habano Condega Ligero. This medium to full-bodied cigar offers an evolving flavor profile: it begins with initial notes of wood and hay, transitions into richer nuances of maple and brown sugar, and culminates in a spicy citrus finish. The Espada Guard’s exceptional construction ensures an even burn and smooth draw, making it a luxurious choice for aficionados seeking a complex and refined smoking experience.
